Signode’s automation solution aids dairy major to upgrade packaging output by 67%
The OEM for a leading dairy manufacturer approached Signode for a packaging solution that would help them increase their packaging output from 60 tonnes per day to 100 tonnes.

Our key challenge was that the output had to be 26 cartons per minute while the carton sizes were as small as 45 mm and 75mm height. The team worked on an innovative complete automation solution impacting the packaging process right from the erection to the storage stage. They modified the existing model by manufacturing & developing a new flap closing system for such small height of boxes to meet 26cartons/minute throughput.
