Signode has introduced an innovative modular steel strapping head M247 endowed with quick-change technology, that provides reduced downtime and consistent performance for heavy duty steel strapping solutions.
Modular design means 24x7 reliability
Each of the seven modules is equipped with a locator plate or latch that ensures secure and precise alignment. If a module ever needs maintenance, it can be sent via standard package delivery to our depot repair facility. Spare modules can also be kept on hand to virtually eliminate downtime.
Simplified operations and maintenance
Interchangeable modular components can be quickly removed and replaced for routine maintenance with no need for special handling equipment. Modules can be replaced inline in second by your own service personnel, eliminating long term service disruptions and minimizing operator exposure to active machinery.
