The last few months have truly tested the resilience of businesses. We have had to quickly adapt to the vulnerability and uncertainty around us. Carrying on our operations with minimal disruption became the top priority.
Through these trying times, we are glad we could be of service to our customers with our packaging solutions.
- All Signode plants in India were running during this pandemic, completely abiding by all safety norms. We complied with all COVID 19 protocols across all our facilities. Overcoming the supply chain challenges, we were able to meet the requirements of our end customers, specifically in Food, Pharma, FMCG & Process industries.
- Our contract packaging solution involves packaging of our customers’ products in their premises, which included material, machines and manpower. We fully supported our casual labor in our packaging contract sites providing them with hygiene and grocery essentials from time to time. This ensured that most of the labor stayed back for work and did not migrate to their hometowns, thereby enabling uninterrupted packaging operations.
- Signode employees quickly adapted to technology so they could redress service issues of our customers through our online guidance, without having to engage in any physical interface.
- Many of our customers appreciated our efforts during this period for providing support, commitment and contribution in ensuring critical supplies to them, which in turn helped them to serve their customers in these difficult times.
