With increase in production capacities, storage of finished goods becomes a constraint due to floor space availability and inability of forklifts to match the output speeds. Signode can integrate the output of the individual packaging lines to have a common end of the line packaging. The palletized loads from here can then be shipped to the warehouse using Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). Signode’s cart based ASRS solutions provide a higher pallet density by effectively utilizing the vertical space.
