Traditionally, separate strapping machines are designed to apply either circumferential straps or eye Straps on a metal coil. However, a metal coil requires both these straps, which meant that customers had to install two separate machines for packing, not just adding to the initial and operational costs, but also deterring the automation process.
Keeping this need in mind, Signode developed an integrated Strapping Machine. The key features & benefits of this machine are:
- Single Strapping head for both circumference and eye straps, both operation in a single machine
- Optimised design with 90° rotatable strapping head from Circumference strap position to Eye strap position
- Synchronised with bayonets, cradle rollers and chutes for uninterrupted strap feeding
