| Signode has opened a Centre of Excellence in India for Signode’s automation solutions for the global metals industry. The main goal of the Center of Excellence is to help Signode provide its customers with best-in-class technology & innovative solutions at optimal costs, meeting the global standards of safety, quality, reliability & operational efficiencies. We have also partnered with select industry leaders to offer end to end Integrated packaging & warehousing automation solutions. We have recently had a Strategic partnership with Vollert Anlagenbau GmbH, Germany to offer world class, technologically superior and latest material handling & ASRS solutions to the Metals segment in India. Signode has a range of supply chain automation & digitization solutions to help drive supply chain efficiencies. Our solutions include Material Tracking System (MTS), Warehouse Management System (iWMS), Integrated Logistics Management System (iLMS) and Returnable Asset Tracking Solutions. Each module can be used either independently or in conjunction with other modules. | Sustainability |
| Our recent product innovations have been focused around developing high strength & low weight packaging, which helps to reduce the packaging footprint. Our packaging design teams are continuously working with customers to optimize the packaging designs. Another area where we have worked on is developing returnable packaging solutions which have helped in environmental & economic sustainability. In our packaging contract operations, we have collaborated with our customers to reduce packaging wastages and inefficiencies. We have co-created green areas within their plants to encourage collaborative environmental stewardship. Our equipment & tools are designed to last long even in robust environments. They are equipped with enhanced features which help improve safety and reduce power utilization. Through our Transit packaging portfolio, we have implemented vehicle lashing solutions to help deliver the products in a safe manner. Each solution is uniquely designed with the use of high tenacity textile lashing along with high strength dunnage airbags, catering to the supply chain requirements. |

| Our returnable packaging solutions include Roll Cradles and Pallets. We are working on adding new solutions in our returnable packaging portfolio. We have business models in which we invest on the returnable assets and manage the complete packaging and reverse logistics for our customers. We take full accountability and ownership for developing, implementing & executing circular supply chain solutions. |
| Adding Value during current supply chain crisis |
| Signode has solutions for both Container packaging & Break Bulk packaging. For Container packaging, we have worked with our customers to develop solutions which help them optimize their container space. Our innovative lashing & dunnage airbag solutions help to reduce the supply chain costs by protecting the cargo in transit, improving productivity in container securing operations, reducing manpower and decreasing the container turnaround time. For break bulk, our solutions help in safer & faster operations during loading & unloading of cargo from the ships. The Signode USLM (Unit Strap Lifting Method) system permits the lifting and handling of unitized loads with specialized USLM strapping. The method is used to lift and position break-bulk cargo into and out of the holds of ships, reducing loading and unloading time. The USLM system has been used successfully on a variety of bulk cargo including bales of wood pulp, plywood, lumber, logs, and metal products such as aluminum ingots, copper cathodes, and zinc slabs.” |
