Seal-less rotating eye strapping machine for seamless hot coil strapping application

Signode India has built a seal-less single head (M410S) rotating eye strapping machine for hot steel coils up to 750 degrees Celsius. The strapping machine design allows it to reach any possible angle of the strap. The sealing position of the strap is at side face of the coil. The complete strapping machine is a single-column construction built on floor level with all safety features designed as per CE norms.

This machine along with three twin head circumferential strapping machine for down coiler application and one single head circumferential strapping machine for inspection line has been supplied to a North American steel mill through a European mill builder.

The M410S strapping head is designed to apply:

31.75 mm width strap
Tension up to 20,000 N providing superior load integrity at lower cost
Strap to coils with minimum pack face as low as 6 inches / 150 mm
