Laser Marking on Steel Strap integrated with online Strapping Machines

Signode Japan recently upgraded its laser marking system for steel strapping machines where the marker is applied on the supplied strap and not on the outer coil. This change eliminates the conventional inkjet marking along with the taping and labelling, thereby protecting the outer surface of the coil.

The laser marker takes only about 30 seconds for printing and can print approximately (W) 95mm x (H) 28mm of the area on 1-1/4” width strapping.

Having no ink or adhesive bring in the following benefits:
