| Stretch hood provides a 5-sided, waterproof load with optimum clarity from one layer of transparent film, which allows your product brand to be seen throughout transport. The stretch hood is made from a continuous roll of gusseted film that is stretched and applied over the pallet load for maximum integrity. | ||||||||||||

| A Lachenmeier® stretch hooder is characterized by the simple and maintenance-friendly film feed device, the unique vacuum/mechanical film opening system, the powerful stretch units and the encoder-monitored film application providing a smooth and visually optimal application of film. The Lachenmeier machines can handle various qualities and thicknesses of film from 20-200 micron. Stretch hood allows for barcode reading through the film, and the wrapping is especially suitable for high shelf storage systems, such as Signode’s Storfast® cart-based automated storage and retrieval system (AS/RS). | ||||||||||||

| Lachenmeier stretch hooding offers more than just a closed film hood being applied to a uniform load. The machines can apply film sleeves as well as short hoods, and they can wrap the load with perforated film to avoid condensation as well as apply film reinforcement on the load where needed. In addition, stretch hood is suitable for products with different shapes and sizes and especially one-layer loads where traditional stretch wrap is not as effective. | ||||||||||||
